Schlote offers room for innovation
Technological excellence in the Schlote Group thanks to committed employees
Harsum, July 2024 - With a clear commitment to innovative technologies, the Schlote Group took part in the IHK's Information Technology Working Group in mid-June. This event was an outstanding forum for the exchange of knowledge between the IT degree programmes at the University of Hildesheim and leading industry partners. The Schlote Group was represented by IT Manager Walter Mantsch and Team Leader MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Sascha Carell together with Adrian Kahle.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation by Adrian Kahle, who developed his bachelor's thesis at the Schlote Group. He presented his digital twin of one of the Schlote Group's largest production lines. This advanced simulation aims to significantly increase productivity through precise test runs. This approach emphasises the Schlote Group's commitment to increasing efficiency and productivity in production through advanced technologies.
"We are very proud of Adrian, who will continue to pursue his ideas in our IT team even after successfully completing his Bachelor's thesis," says Walter Mantsch. Sascha Carell adds: "For us, Adrian's work is an excellent example of the possibilities and opportunities that can arise from a symbiosis between IT and production."
The event was further enriched by the recognition of Prof Dr Klaus Ambrosi, a renowned expert in business administration and operations research, who praised Adrian Kahle for his outstanding achievements. Kahle, who was honoured as the best student in his year, represents the Schlote Group's commitment to excellence in education and technological innovation.
In addition, the Schlote Group was invited by Dr Felix Hahne, a leading scientist at the Institute of Business Administration and Information Systems at the University of Hildesheim, to take part in an important student survey on new supply chain laws. This reflects the Schlote Group's commitment to driving forward pioneering developments through partnerships with academic institutions.
"Giving young talent room for innovative approaches within the company is an important building block in our HR strategy," says Kai Ostholthoff, HR Business Partner.
